A poem for our friends who lost their sweet son

Midnight hours we have held you.
Morning sun, cool breeze,
we with you rose.
With our hands, our hearts,
we fed you, bathed you, changed you.

Still in awe,
miracle of knowing you,
you are the
bone of our bones,
flesh of our flesh.

How do we continue with our days?
How do we continue with our days?

Our sunlight, our son.

Hold you we will still,
Ever-filled our hearts will be,
Joy of knowing you.

And we are
held by hands that hold you now,
spirits lifted up with yours,
One day
Everyday
All our days
You our hearts will hold.
Someday
One day
We with you rise.

Hi Sara,

Beautiful poem.

Would you mind if we posted it on our blog to share with our friends and family?

Thanks,

Jeremy and Amanda
